Our Story
A true California native, I grew up near the Pacific Ocean and Santa Monica Mountains. The sea, sand, and the fragrances of nature have always spoken to my soul, and even as a child I was naturally drawn to the emotional comfort of certain aromas. I remember purchasing my first perfume when I was twelve. It was an all-natural patchouli oil I mixed with honeysuckle or blueberry oil which was overly sweet, but to a young girl in the late 70's, it was perfect.
Fast forward to today and I am still just as drawn to nature. I believe that our body, mind, and spiritual vibrations are raised and balanced through the abundant gifts nature has to offer us. I have personally experienced amazing healing through natural methods and feel driven to share what I have learned through years of study and experiment. It was through using essential oils and gemstone therapy for my personal use on my healing journey that Awaken was born.
Falling back on 20 years of experience in the Beauty, Spa, and Wellness industry, I chose to create a line of consciously crafted, chemical-free products that focus on awakening the light of beauty that shines from the Soul. It is a joy for me to create the blends. It is a beautiful expression of self-healing and self-love that I am able to share with others.
The process begins with a meditation to set the intention of awakening. With incense burning and mantras chanted, the blends are created infused with healing gemstones and high vibration Reiki energy and love. As you begin to use the oils, you will feel the positive intentions in each of the Awaken products.
Each bottle is made from the heart and it is my heartfelt desire to be a support of all who are awakening. To be a shining light, sending love and inspiration whenever it is needed on this amazing journey called life.
